BioWin, which is good for BIOtechnologies Wallonia INnovation, is the health cluster of Wallonia (Belgium) . Focused on human health, its objectives are :
• to become a worldwide leader in the three target sectors of cancer, inflammation and brain diseases within the next 10 years ;
• to encourage the creation of a new culture of openness and favorable partnership for innovation in Wallonia ;
• to train, attract, develop and keep excellent human resources in Wallonia.
BioWin fosters collaborations between universities and the industry. On one hand, in order to develop innovative products and services through collaborative partnerships. On the other, to build up strong bridges between the academic and the economic worlds.
