Bender GmbH
Innovative measuring and monitoring systems from BENDER monitor the power supply and signal critical operating conditions at an early stage of development.
In this way, potential operating faults can be recognized early, in critical areas, such as hospitals, where even short power interruptions can result in equipment damage and may expose people to danger, entailing considerable subsequent costs. Bender system solutions ensure electrical safety, protecting both people and equipment.

In 1946 Walther Bender founded an engineering office in Grünberg, Hessen, which gradually became the Bender Group of today. The first insulation monitoring devices for the mining industry were developed and produced. These small beginnings were the origin of a flourishing undertaking.

In 1972 Christian D. Bender overtook the leadership of his father’s company with a staff of 20 people. A new factory was built in the industrial area of Grünberg and the development of the company was progressing at quite a rapid pace. In 1983, the subsidiary BENDER Incorporated in Philadelphia, USA, was founded. Then business connections to countries such as Canada, China, England, the Netherlands and Spain were established. BENDER sales agencies were founded in Germany and a close network of agencies and distributors was established in over 40 countries in Europe and abroad. Today, worldwide approximately 350 people are employed by Bender.

The BENDER products:
A-ISOMETER , monitoring systems for the power supplies in healthcare facilities, measuring, protective and monitoring relays, residual current monitors, insulation fault location systems, and testing systems for testing the safety of electrical equipment are used in all areas of industry, in traffic engineering, building services and hospitals.
