About us
The Institute of Polymer Research is an institute of the GKSS Research Centre Geesthacht GmbH, which is member in the Helmholtz Association of National Research Centres. The Institute of Polymer Research has two locations, Geesthacht in Schleswig-Holstein and Teltow-Seehof in Brandenburg, in the south of Berlin. The institute is integrated into the university periphery. Each institute head is also professor at an university. The cooperation at the institute is documented by objectives and strategies that are followed up at both locations:
