Xuzhou NOVA Medical Instrument Co., Ltd focuses on the development, manufacturing and sales of medium and top grade medical-use optical apparatus and equipment, endoscopes, medical-use electronic apparatus, physical therapy and healing equipments and other high-frequency products. The company is one of the province level high and new technology enterprises.
The company now produces 5 series of products, among which KJ-1000 series infrared mammary diagnosis apparatus and KJ-8200 digital electronic vaginoscope were authorized by the provincial government as the province level high-tech products in 2001, KJ-2000 electroencephalograph terrain system and KJ-6200 series microwave therapeutic apparatus were ranked among province level “torch projects” in 2001 and 2002 respectively. The company has won high market share and enjoyed praises from customers.
Since its establishment, the company has been sticking to the guidelines of “Excellent management brings about efficiency while high quality builds up the brand” and pursuing constantly the standardized management. According to the national standards, the company has built up a product testing laboratory which consists of over 20 advanced detecting and testing equipments for the products. In 2001 the company carried out the application of ISO9001standard of quality management, built up the overall quality management system covering the whole process of product design and development, material purchase, manufacturing, testing, installation, and service. In July 2003, the company successfully obtained the authentication of “national quality management system of medical equipment” (CMD certificate), which further improved its strong capability of product quality guarantee.
Since 2002, the company has employed more than 10 specialists and professors as well as their MSc students from scientific research and medical institutions in Xuzhou, Nanjing, Shanghai, Beijing and other places to assist the technical development of products and turn the updated technology into new products for the improvement of public health. A number of hospitals ranked among “top level first class” hospitals by the country have become the clinical test bases of the company such as the NO.97 hospital of PLA, the affiliated hospital of Xuzhou medical college, the Xuzhou hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and so on. They have provided updated and accurate data of clinical experiment for the development of new products. Now the company has been engaged in the development, testing and applying for registration of 4 series of high-tech new products which include over 10 types.
