About us
Ultragel Kft (LLC) was established in 1998, 100 % of its shares are held by a Hungarian owner. The Company’s founder, Mr Balázs Komáromy has created this company with the purpose of producing contact gels, register papers and a stock of supplies for the Hungarian and for the international medical market.
The ultrasound- and ECG-gels produced and marketed by us on the basis of our own formula and on the individual production technology we developed are well known and widely distributed all over in Hungary and also on the international market.
The excellent quality of the products is acknowledged in many countries around the world, since Ultragel’s products are present in Asia, Africa and South-America as well. Ultragel’s expansion on the world market is represented by the establishment of daughter companies like Asia Ultragel Co. Ltd in 2006, with the purpose to also satisfy the demand of the Asian region. The easier meeting of the market needs in Africa, resp. the Near-East is realized by the mediation of our partner company in Alexandria.
Proper product quality is ensured through applying precise production technology and strict controls, based on a closed production system and on a continuously developing equipment park. Digital PH-measuring, computerised viscosity control and digital water quality examination also assure best production level.
In compliance with our traditions our goal is to provide our customers with top quality services, also meeting the high quality standards of the 21st century, represented by the applied ISO-9001 quality assurance system and by the licence to use the CE quality mark.
In February 2006 we moved over to a new producing plant, so now we use an area of 2,000 square meters for manufacturing, warehousing, logistics and for administration purposes.For the stripping of ultrasound gel a bottle-producing section is working,where the production of 250ml,1000ml bottles are going on from LPDE material.
Our partner company, the ULTRAMED Medical Techniques Ltd.(www.ultramed.hu) deals with other medical equipments, they turn over the whole palette of family doctor’s and basic maintenance instrument.
They can undertake the planning and construction of consulting rooms, their own metal and wood furniture manufacturing section is functioning for the production of individual and run furniture.
This expansion offers us better infrastructure and the chance to begin with the production of our new product line,called “OP” – being in the final phase of authorization – and to introduce the same on the market within short. This new product line includes different types of disinfectants and germ-killers for the use of health service employees.
The offer of the new product line includes the following products: liquid soap, antiseptic lavatory, washing gel for operations, equipment disinfectant, surface disinfectant,skin germ-killer, quick germicide, germ-reducing lavatory and cream.
