Tosan Co. a leading manufacturer of neonatal systems was established in 1982 in Tehran,Iran. The first product of Tosan Co. was an incubator named Mozhdeh, which has been considered as the main product of the company since its production and still being produced. In addition to this product, Tosan has manufactured many other neonatal systems including phototherapy and warmers. High quality of our products and their cheaper prices comparing to that of foreign competitors soon made us to increase our production level and consequently made us to move our factory to a bigger place in Tehran ‘s suburb in 1983. At this time, Tosan could reach mass production of other systems like oxygen tent, neonatal bed, and scales for infants, etc. Further to reaching mass production of such variety of systems, a much bigger space was required and for this reason the company started to build a 4000 square meter factory in Hashtgerd City in 1990. It took 2 years before the factory was built and upon its completion, the facilities were transferred to this new site. In Hashtgerd plant, we continued to develop new products so that currently we are enjoying mass manufacturer of 17 different main and auxiliary systems, yet to be enhanced in the future. Likewise, we developed other sectors of organization in Parallel and developed our Research & Development, Quality Control and engineering departments independently and this has highly contributed to optimization of the quality and quantity of our products in the recent years. Due to great sensibility of medical equipment specifically those relevant to newborns, Tosan is highly committed to comply with the essential quality and standards. Such policy has given Tosan the honor to be an important pioneer in formation of standards kindred to incubators in Iran and for this reason we have the privilege of being the first and only standard certificate holder of incubator systems in Iran.
