About us
Huaiyin Medical Instruments Co., Ltd. is the subordinate company invested by Shanghai Fosun Industrial Joint-stock Co., Ltd., listed at Shanghai Stock Exchange. It is mainly devoted itself to study and develop the surgical instruments, producing and managing them. It is a designated producing base of the general surgical instruments in China.
Our company takes “self-cultivation , harmonizing family, self-realization and taking social responsibility”as company’s philosophy. We have the strong professional technical contingent and well-equipped producing and examining installations. The main products include a series of sterile disposable surgical blades, sterile surgical atraumatic suture needles (with sutures), stainless steel surgical knife handles, disaposable stainless steel blood lancets, electric heated sterilizers with time device and so on. There are nearly one thousand varieties and specifications. Now there are 700 staffs in our company. Among them there are nearly 100 professional technical personnel. Our technical force is strong. We find ourselves in a leading position in the field of manufacturing the professional equipment, designing the technology procedure and studying and developing the new products in China. In 1997, our company obtained the import and export rights from the Ministry of National Foreign Economic Trade. In 1998, our company had passed the quality system authentication of ISO9002. We obtained CE product authentication of our products and the quality system authentication of ISO9002 & EN46002 that authenticated by Germany TUV PRODUCT SERVICE GMBH in 1999. In 2001, we obtained the license for production enterprise of medical instruments and the product registration certificate of medical instruments for eight varieties, such as sterile surgical blades, sterile surgical atraumatic suture needles(with thread), etc. At present, over ninety-eight percent of our products are supplied to abroad and sell well on foreign markets in over 30 countries and regions . The production capacity and the export quantity of our products rank first in China.
The new factory building is strictly designed and built according to the national professional norms and standards of the medical instruments. Now 1200 square meters of the one hundred thousand grade of purifying workshop is put into use. It will improve our yearly production capacity of surgical blades to 1.2-1.5 billion pieces. Meanwhile, the yearly production capacity of surgical suture needles will be increased to 45 million pieces.
Facing to chances and challenges that WTO brings to us, we will try to let our clients be satisfied as well as let our employee, our partners and our social be satisfied. In the future several years, we will make our company be the largest base producing the general surgical instruments in Asia.
