About us…
KM Medical was established in 2006. Its mandate was to develop a Neonatal Resuscitator to reduce the incidence of Chronic Lung Disease resulting from Neonatal Volutrauma.
The resultant Neonatal Resuscitator controls both Airway Pressure and Tidal Volume simultaneously. It also has Transport Ventilator capability.
The unit is automatic, hand-held, low cost and easy-to-use.
Its inventors Gilbert Kuypers and Richard McCulloch have previously collaborated in the research, development and licensing of IP in the Respiratory Equipment field.
Contributing Consultants include Dr Enrico Hammerle, Snr Lecturer, Dept of Mechanical Engineering, the University of Auckland New Zealand.
