About us
It was in 1889 that Auguste Maillefer, watchmaker and then dentist, founded the Company that bears his name and began manufacturing the first dental instruments which he and his dentist friends used in their daily practices.
Thanks to the quality and technical innovation of its products, for example nickel-titanium root canal instruments, and by becoming a supplier of global solutions for endodontic treatments, the Maillefer Company has progressed from the status of pioneer to that of world leader in its market. This evolution was taken a step further when the Company was taken over in 1995 by the Dentsply group which, given the size of its distribution network, has allowed dentists all over the world to access Maillefer products.
