Innovative saliva drug of abuse test and READER systems
MAVAND Solutions GmbH produces and markets rapid drug of abuse tests in combination with evaluation instruments and data base management. This performance package covers first-time a perfect complete solution for drug testing in workplace, clinical and forensic medicine, etc.
Outstanding is the Rapid STAT® – a revolutionary point of collection test for saliva-, wipe- and pure substance testing. The Rapid STAT® combines the easy handling of a saliva-, wipe or pure substance test with the sensitivity, accuracy and precision of a laboratory test which results are available in 6-8 minutes.
The test principle and its unique construction guarantee that even the most difficult detection of THC in saliva is assured. As the first and only saliva drug test ever the Rapid STAT® is able to detect the THC in saliva at the limit value of 1 ng/ml in blood that is required by the Police Forces!
The results are confirmed by GC/MS measurements of the University of Mainz, Germany, Legal Medicine, Dr. Joerg Roehrich, the University of Homburg/Germany, Legal Medicine, Prof. Dr. Thomas Kraemer and the control measurements made by the Police Forces of Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate.
The Rapid STAT® test can be evaluated either visually or by a measurement unit, f.e. the Mobile READER. The Mobile READER is a Touch Screen Tablet PC with integrated high resultion CCD camera. It is small and handy and can be used perfectly for all roadside applications. The software evaluates automatically the positive or negative results and sends a signal as soon as the measurement is completed. It is understood that automatic generation of reports, statistics, printout and mailing of results is possible.
READER systems for the desk, for labs, clinics and special vehicles naturally are also available.
