Medica” Joint-Stock Company – Sandanski was founded in 1971 when the plant for surgical dressing materials started its work. Thereafter, the company has been an integral part of the Bulgarian pharmaceutical industry, initially within the “Pharmachim” Trade and Manufacturing Corporation and, since 1991, as an independent unit.
Its large-scale manufacturing facilities and the professional, organizational and technological experience accumulated during the years, enabled the enterprise to gain significant positions on the European market, completely meeting the demand of the domestic market as well.
The company continuously innovates, updates and expands its capacity and facilities in the area of its specialization: surgical dressing and sanitary-hygienic materials, finished pharmaceuticals, stomatological and microalgal products, and therapeutic shampoos.
