Miniature CCD Cameras for Endoscopy
Medigus Ltd. offers the world’s smallest CCD video cameras for endoscopy, measuring only 1.8mm x 1.8mm and 3mm x 3mm. The proprietary cameras, which were developed by Medigus are ready-for-integration into endoscopes and are suitable for companies that wish to manufacture their own video endoscopes based on the cameras. All cameras are manufactured and assembled at the company’s facilities and state of the art optical testing equipment is used during the process. The miniaturized cameras allow for decreased endoscope diameters for visualizing hard-to-access areas of the human anatomy. Alternatively, the cameras allow for relatively large working channels in an endoscope. The cameras are used in existing endoscopes manufactured by various companies including some of the major players in the medical device industry. In addition, Medigus offers endoscope design and manufacturing services, using its cameras as well as other proprietary technologies.
