Menfis bioMedica is a company operating into the electro-medical field, located in Bologna – Italy.

URODYNAMICS
Pico Flow , is a microprocessor controlled unit designed for carrying out the basic urodynamic test e.g. the Uroflowmetry.
Pico Flow2 is and advanced uroflowmeter with the possibility to asses even the Electromyographic activity pf the pelvic floor muscle
FlowZig a new uroflowmetry system where the flow cell is linked wirelessly to a PC.
Pico Compact and Pico Smart are our top level systems. Capable to perform all the urodynamic tests they can also be expanded with the video-urodynamic option. Moreover the system can bear other diagnostic options like Dynamic Cavernosometry and GI manometry. These upgrading can be done at any time so that it really represents a cost-effective investment. The software packages installed on the Pico Compact and Pico Smart work under Windows XP operative system and allow the full management of the tests from the execution to the analysis, to the editing of a medical report. The Remote Assistance package included in the system ensures a prompt answer to any request of service and/or upgrading of the programs through an Internet connection.
The two differs mainly on the maximum number of channels which is 8 in the Pico Compact and 12 in the Pico Smart
Pico Brigt is new system based on an embedded computer with a touch screen console 15″ large. All the standard urodynamic tests are performed
Urodynamic Catheters are made of PEBAX, a polyeter-amide copolymer with high mechanical performances allowing reduced wall thickness of the catheter.
GASTROINTESTINAL LINE
In this area we produce system for manometry examinations along with dedicated catheters and system for prolonged oesophageal and gastric pHmetry.
Dyno Compact and Dyno Smart are computerised systems for GI motility evaluations. They can record gastrointestinal pressures, electromyography signals, detect breath and swallow. Theirs advanced software is able to build up a three-dimension picture of the pressure values measured along the sphincter, the so-called Sphincter Vector Volume. Video-manometry is a special feature of this system
Manometry Catheters are supplied sterile and for single-use. We have made this decision to prevent cross contamination and failure of the mechanical performances that sometimes are involved when re-usable catheters are utilised. The single-use approach is supported by a very low price. We manufacture a full range of manometry catheters for oesophageal and anorectal application.
PH-DAY 2 is a very small, lightweight, 2-channel portable pHmeter. It can work with glass and antimony probes for 24 hours or more recording. Its software, working on Windows environments, makes possible several analyses including the calculation of the new parameters like H+ area and pH under threshold area.
BLU RUNNER is a flexible device born to do prolonged ambulatory recording (days) of pH, Pressures, flow, EMG signals. It can be expanded up to 8 channels of plug & play type.
It can be easily converted in a stationary system.
BCS (Bithermic Caloric Stimulator) allows executing the caloric test, the most useful test in vestibular examination carried out in the ENT practice.
Displayed data: temperature, duration and volume of irrigating water.
Reduced maintenance and cleaning problems with the use of distilled water over traditional systems with tap water.
Double independent circuit for simultaneous or sequential irrigation.
The user can easily set-up and memorises 10 test protocols.
RHINOMANOMETRY
Ryno Kit is a system to investigate the nasal permeability. It allows recording, storing and elaboration of the fundamental Rhinomanometry parameters: flow and pressure of each nostril. It works with a program on Windows environment
Ryno Zig is a new device where the mask trasmits the data wirelesly to the computer ensuring a more confortable execution of the tests.
