MESO: Manufacturer of SonoWin
MESO has started in 1992 developing custom solutions in medical image processing, supporting research projects for the pharmaceutical and ultrasound industry.
In 1994, the first version of SonoWin® was introduced, which was initially a software for digitizing ultrasound images and storing that images into a file, together with a report. In the following years, SonoWin® became a powerful patient database with picture archiving system for video pictures (ultrasound, endoscopy, …), seamlessly integrating reporting.
A lot of available modules now allows the customized extension of the basic software. For example, modules for sequence recording, stressecho, post measurement, obstetric package and DICOM support are available. SonoWin® is expandable from a stand-alone to a multi-user networking system. It has the overall possibility to integrate new technologies on demand.
A new product line beside the main product SonoWin® includes devices for the save connection of computers to medical devices. For example, the S-Video Isolation Amplifier SIA-01 is an inexpensive solution for transferring a S-Video signal from an ultrasound device to a PC keeping the medical requirements. The Printer Port Isolator PPI-01 can be used if a embedded PC in the ultrasound device has to be connected to a computer printer outside of the medical device. Solutions for isolation of network connections are also available.
Until yet, MESO has expanded to more than 20 employees in development and sales.
SonoWin® is currently available in German, English, Spanish, Portuguese and French language.
All MESO products are CE conformed and certified to the European Medical Directives.
