It its almost 30 years of existence, the Meyer-Haake company has developed from an importer of American dental products into a manufacturer of an independent line of products.
1981 Founding of the company in Marl, Germany.
1982 Take-over by Mrs. Christine Meyer-Haake and transfer to Frankfurt / Main.
1982 – 1989 Importer of products from an American dental supplier.
1987 Development of an independent line of products, starting with the fully electronic root canal length locator APEX-FINDER, the dominating device on the German market – over 7 000 units sold! Specialization in devices, instruments and materials for direct gold fillings.
1989 Termination of the business relationship with the American supplier and transfer to Oberursel. Development and production of an independent line of devices, instruments, materials and medical products for the dental practice. Development of the high frequency surgical device hf1 Surg (protected registered pattern for two installed innovations).
1992 Office extension and development of a second version of the high frequency surgical unit, the hf SURG. Development of a variation of the fully electronic root canal length locator, the APEX-FINDER 3000. Development of the rotating root planing instrument Desmoclean and the OROMATIC, a pneumatic gold condensing device.
1994 Development of a second version of the rotating Desmoclean instrument.
1995 Development of an innovative attachment – the hf-coolite – the first hand piece with an integrated cold light designed for high frequency surgical devices. Establishment of a Quality Management / Assurance System and certification of the company and its products in accordance with the Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC, ISO 9002. Subsequent start of CE-marking products. Development and certification of EPIGLU, a cyanoacrylate-based tissue adhesive. Marketing expansion into the medical sector and export. 1996 Development of a new pneumatic gold condensing device, the AuruMaster.
1997 Development of two additional versions of the Desmoclean rotating root planing instruments. Development of RESO-PAC, the first periodontal dressing that does not have to be removed.
1998 Distribution of the chromatic chromatic alginate ALGITRI.
1999 Development of the approximate anchor system bloLINK. Development of the high frequency surgical unit radioSURG 2200 for physicians.
2001 Development of adhesive mm-grids for dental X-ray films.
2003 Sale of the dental product line, changing of the name to Meyer-Haake Medical Innovations and move to 61273 Wehrheim.
