About us
Since our formation in 2003, Microsystems has focussed on ultra-precision micro-machining and micro-moulding. The majority of our customers are in the medical and pharmaceutical markets.
Microsystems has invested in the latest equipment for high accuracy machining, including micro-EDM, micro-wire erosion, 5-axis micro-milling, micro-pin-grinding and super-precision turning. All machining and moulding is carried out in a clean, temperature controlled environment. Mould design and moulding are supported where appropriate by full 3D Moldflow.
At Compamed, Microsystems will be exhibiting micro-moulded parts with small holes, meshes and micro/nano feature sizes, micro insert moulded components, and process capability for closed loop control of multi-cavity medical moulds. Components to be shown include drug delivery clips featuring a 7mm long, 0.32mm dia hole at a compound angle, micro-connectors with 0.2mm dia through-holes, and a micro-lens with sub-micron surface features.
