Innovative Biotechnological Test Systems
The Berlin-based rennesens GmbH develops and manufactures innovative rapid tests. In 2003 the company succeeded in developing a new generation of lab-independent tests for the detection of Acute Myocardial Infarction – CardioDetect“.
It is the first test available world-wide using h-FABP as an early infarction marker. That particularly small protein can be detected as soon as 20 minutes after an infarction, eliminating the need to wait for hours for Troponin. The corresponding shift in treatment onset may save the life of many patients.
The Test is available in two versions – one for medical specialist and another one for private use. Both versions are CE approved.
