Star Lasers is part of the SSPL group of companies, which has more than 75 years of experience in the medical equipment field and over 30 years experience in the field of medical lasers. The SSPL group has several firsts to its credit. For example, we were the first company to install excimer lasers for vision correction and lasers for hair removal in India. As a group, we encompass a broad spectrum of activities in the medical laser field.
Our distribution arm, Samir Surgitech Pvt. Ltd., represents several well known companies in the medical laser and optics field. For example, we are exclusive distributors in India for Carl Zeiss Refractive Surgery Lasers. We also represent several companies like Human Optics, Asclepion Laser Technologies and Photomedex as their exclusive distributors in India. We also provide local after-sales service for all these companies.
Our manufacturing and design arm, Star Lasers, is one of the leading medical laser manufacturer and exporter in India. We manufacture a broad range of lasers and light sources in India.
We also run our own medical laser clinics. For example, New Vision Laser Centers is the leading chain in refractive laser centers in India. New Look Cosmetic Laser Clinics is a leading chain of aesthetic laser clinics. LaseRx is another initiative where we have created India’s largest and most exclusive medical laser clinic. Our clinics provide our group with extensive medical experience and clinical insight into our products. Our clinics are also very well known for providing extensive training on medical lasers to physicians and surgeons from all over the world.
We are a progressive group, enjoying annual growth rates of more than 20% since several years. Our current turnover is in excess of USD 8 million. Our current employee strength is around 150. This includes several sales and service personnel, R & D personnel, clinical personnel and administrative staff.
