3QBD was founded in April, 2000 by highly experienced professionals with over 30 years expertise in the field of biotechnology.
From the start, the company’s vision was to provide the field of Women’s Healthcare with a new diagnostic tool that would transform the health and wellbeing of women throughout the world. Today, women can receive improved healthcare as their doctors become able to more accurately diagnose their infections quickly and easily and to prescribe the correct treatment for their condition.
The company’s founders, Dr. Avraham Lorber and Dr. Zeev Karpas, are well-known senior researchers at the Nuclear Research Center Negev (NRCN) in Israel.
3QBD’s main financial support stems from its shareholders, which include a major US chemical company. Initially the company received backing from the Israel Chief Scientist’s office.
3QBD ‘s future plans include expanding further into the medical field through the wider use of its solution in the detection of other infections, as well as seeking applications for its technology in other fields such as the testing of freshness of food products etc.
