About us
Alpine Biomed was founded in 1994. The founders’ collective expertise in chemistry, physics, engineering, and process manufacturing allowed Alpine to develop superior pH catheters for diagnostic use. Since then, we have continually improved our products and processes, making us the number one pH catheter supplier to the major gastroenterology diagnostic medical device companies in the US and Europe.
Although we have grown considerably since 1994, our Fountain Valley headquarters remain a few miles from the original office. All Alpine employees are dedicated to our customers and to maintaining the highest quality standards possible. We are working every day to improve our sensor technologies and bring better diagnostics to the medical world.
Our manufacturing facilities in Asia and the United States give us a unique cost advantage when developing new technology and production. All of our products go through final assembly, quality control, and packaging in the United States to maintain the highest possible quality standards. We are ISO 9002 certified, and are licensed by the FDA to produce medical devices.
