Hydrophilic Polyurethane Foam Dressing
Medifoam is an advanced wound dressing made from highly absorbent polyurethane which has an unique structure. It provides best moist wound healing environment resulted from excellent absorption capability of exudates and moisture permeability, and it has non-adherent property to the wound surface.
Medifoam can be applied to general wound such as abrasion, cut, scratch wound, general (not superficial ulcer) 2nd degree burn, leg ulcer, diabetic ulcer, bedsore and donor site. Mostly common applications are donor site, bedsore and various ulcers.
Medifoam does not stick to wound contact site, it protects newly growing cell and eventually it does not leaves much scar mark.
Medifoam is an ideally advanced dressing which can be replaced from traditional dressing such as ointment, cream, gauze or bandage.
