About Us
CORSCIENCE is a service provider for research and development at a high scientific and technological level. Our special strengths lie in the development of embedded systems, telemetry devices and data mangagement systems. Thanks to our interdisciplinary team, we combine our medical, physical and electrical engineering know-how under one roof. The focus of our activities is biomedical engineering, especially the development of diagnostic and therapy devices for cardiovascular disorders. Based on our DIN EN ISO 9001, DIN EN ISO 13485 and MDD certification, we are able to have medical products licensed for you, too. If necessary, we can also carry out clinical tests in close collaboration with practicing doctors. Together with external partners, we offer you inexpensive production at a high quality level.
In the modern, highly specialized world, one individual can hardly solve all the problems one has to deal with in product development alone. Specialists and experts are needed who are familiar with the respective area, know what to do and have the right "connections". This is why Erlangen was chosen to be the company headquarters. Erlangen has a high density of medical engineering expertise, suppliers, manufacturers and users, which makes close cooperation and professional networks possible. The "Medical Valley" of the Federal Republic of Germany has a central location, is easy to reach by many modes of transportation, and has a good connection to the university.
The company was founded in 2001 as a "spin-off" of the University of Karlsruhe. Within three years, CORSCIENCE has grown to employ more than 30 people, a clear indication of our high performance and customer satisfaction. Among our customers are well-known manufacturers of medical devices, such as Weinmann, MCC, Envitec and Fresenius Medical Care.
