We about us
In 1991 the company PVT Probenverteiltechnik GmbH was founded
in Ludwigsburg.
Very early PVT realized that stand-alone-systems are profitable
because of flexibility of individual systems.
With the sample distribution system VS 250 PVT made first
experience on laboratory automation in pre-analytics. Over 140
VS 250 systems run in routine in Germany and abroad and make
daily work easier.
In 1996 PVT launched the first stand-alone Decapper DS 800.
During the same year PVT started the development of a new
generation of pre-analytic systems: the Aliquoter VS II.
In 1997 the first prototypes of the VS II system were installed and
two years later the delivery of series systems was started.
Besides solid hardware development, data- and online management
are also PVT’s major competence. Parallel with the development
of the VS II system the Silver Server, a system for central
management of onlines in laboratory, was developed.
In 1998 a prototype of the sample quality system QS I was
presented. The QS I system turned out to be a milestone, the first
marketable system for quality recognition of primary samples. The
series QS I automates a very important section of pre-analytics.
PVT realizes the complete software, mechanic and electronic
development in-house. So, PVT offers all from one hand, from the
idea via realization to the production of the series assembly.
The product developments of PVT always aim are meeting the
individual requirements of the laboratory by flexible systems.
The main principles are:
– Making routine work easier
– Increasing security in routine work
– Simplifying laboratory processes
Resulting from this in 1992 a sales co-operation for sample
distribution systems was established between
Boehringer Mannheim GmbH, today Roche Diagnostics, and PVT.
This co-operation has already been expanded from the national
to the international market and the systems VS II, D.S. I and D.S. I
Plus have been added.
Whenever a laboratory is reorganized by a laboratory consultant
of Roche Diagnostics, PVT assists as efficient partner with their
know-how and additional systems. Support is done by the PVT
team quickly and competently.
Our claim to guarantee utmost quality and optimal support for the
satisfaction of our customers is illustrated by our QM-system that
has been certificated by DIN ISO 9001.
PVT develops pre-analytics consequently further and focuses on
all-over solutions which are variable enough to offer solutions for
medium or big size laboratories.
