Sordina S.p.A. is a company specializing in the engineering, manufacturing and sales of high technology appliances for hospital in particular operating tables and sterilization machines.
Through alliances recently established, Sordina is able to provide qualified consulting activities for the complete CSSD and operating theatre engineering as well as full technical and regulatory training of the customer’s personnel for a correct use of the equipment supplied. Today Sordina is steered by a new anagement team taking advantage of an over a century experience of the former Giuseppe Sordina, the historical Italian company specialized in the engineering applied to surgery and sterilization since 1880.
In fact, in 1880 Sordina engineered and performed the first mechanical operating table and some decades later it built its first sterilizer.
Already at the end of the nineteenth century Sordina was cooperating tightly with the Engineering Department of Padova University, one of the most famous and ancient Italian university.
