Wireless Temperature Monitoring & Location Tracking System
Patient’s temperature and location can now be measured and tracked continuously via a small disc-like sensor comfortably pasted on the body. This is made possible by a revolutionary wireless temperature monitoring and location tracking system called Cadi SmartSense.
Cadi SmartSense has obtained the Singapore TEC Innovator Award (TEC is a unit under the Singapore Prime Minister’s Office) and was successfully piloted in Singapore General Hospital. With this system, patients would have uninterrupted rest while their temperatures are being measured continuously and unnoticeably. Clinicians can be immediately alerted for timely treatment if patient begins to have fever, resulting in quicker recovery. Nurses no longer need to go through the repetitive process of taking patients’ temperature manually, charting on paper and keying into the hospital system. As patients’ location is also tracked, this system not only enhances patient care, it enhances patient safety too.
CADI also offers a unique infrared thermometer that measures body temperatures instantly and accurately in two convenient ways, via the ear or forehead.
